Training programme for emerging dance artists:
ATLAS – create your dance trails at ImPulsTanz 2019
Dear Madam or Sir, dear colleague,
It’s the season of the year, where we proudly present the 2019 edition of our training programme ATLAS – create your dance trails embedded in the ImPulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival. It addresses emerging dance artists with first choreographic experience to intensify and focus on their own individual artistic experience, development and skills as well as to investigate current and new movements in the fields of dance, choreography and bodywork.
On top, the participants will be accompanied by a professional coach. This year, the dance daramaturge Guy Cools, who worked with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Akram Khan amongst others, takes this part.
The programme takes place from 12th July to 12th August 2019 and includes:
• Workshop & Research Module
• Performance Module
• Rehearsal & Workspace Module
• Free admission to the two ImPulsTanz parties
The total costs are €5,200 but thanks to the support of the EU network LIFE LONG BURNING these costs could be cut in half. The participation fee for a single application is €2,600.
Now and for the first time, we offer a discount to groups of five or more people for a reduced participation fee of €2,000 per person.
Registration deadline is Monday, 15th April 2019, 12:00 noon CET.
We believe that your dancers, students, colleagues and clients will be interested in the programme. Therefore, we would like to kindly ask you to forward the info sheet attached to this e-mail and / or to hang it up where practicable. The format is variable, it can be printed in A3 and A4. Above that, we would also appreciate, if you would share our post on Facebook.
